Kat’s been encouraging & creating choreographed chaos since 2018

It all began back in the summer of 2018 when we had the idea of learning and performing Thriller at a local competition: Swing City Chicago.

Sharing the love of dance with retirement communities

Dancing with Seniors

The studio banded together to bring the joy of dance to those who don’t get out often. We spent a day of our lives dancing at local senior homes… and we were the ones who go all the joy! What a beautiful day!

Over 20 Heart & Sole Dancers spent 8 weeks learning a Holiday Routine, and then all of them took an entire day (during the busy holiday season) to dance for, and with, local seniors.

We danced for a full hour at four different local senior homes. Each senior center saw a mixture of performances (holiday team routine, samba line dance, the bump, and LOTS of social dancing) and then got to dance with the dancers.
