Dancing is simple and fun and well worth whatever time and energy you have to put into it! Learning to dance is like learning a new language. You can choose to learn a few catch phrases, or really master the language! The best place to start is in one of our beginner level classes, or book a 25-minute consultation to talk to an instructor about your goals!
Anything you want, just get started! Seriously though, come take advantage of our 25-minute consultation and your teacher will start you with something that fits your goals and ability level.
We teach ALL styles of partner dancing; over 20 different dances to be exact. From Ballroom to Country, Swing to Salsa, we’ve got you covered.
No. Singles and couples are always welcomed. We do require you to pre-register for group classes so that the ratio of leaders to followers is always close to 50/50. We can’t always guarantee a fully balanced group class, but we do our best. Our instructors are there to partner extra leaders or followers.
Our group lessons are $55 per 4-week session, each class is 45min long. Have questions about registering? Give us call!
Beginners and those new to dance should take any of our beginner level classes and start at the beginning of a session (they’re in the light pink shade on our calendar). Class sessions begin the first week of each month. Instructors are available to talk about the best way to reach your goals… call and book a 25-minute consultation (currently on sale for only $7!)
Before anything else, we do a 25-minute consultation during which a teacher will sit down with you to understand your goals, and help determine the best path for you to take, private lessons, group classes or a combination…then we get down to the business of reaching your goals! You are always the boss and your teacher is there to help you!
Since everyone comes into the studio looking for something specific to them, we don’t know in advance how much it will cost to reach each unique goal….that’s why we offer a consultation with one of our instructors. We take the time to listen to what you want, and work with you to create a plan that works for you. Consultations are no pressure, no obligation opportunities to let us know about you and hear a plan of action. Private lesson prices include one to two people.
No. All of our private lessons are priced for one to two people. If you don’t have a partner, not a problem at all! You will be paired up with your instructor.
Feel free to stop by the studio or give us call to get scheduled! Our initial consultation will you is 25-minutes in length and our regular private lessons are 50-minutes in length. We are extremely flexible with scheduling and will work with your schedules to find the best time that works for YOU.
Yes. Instructors, group classes, and/or private lesson students all share the floor and the sound system. Our floor is more than big enough to have multiple lessons going on simultaneously and our instructors are experts at guiding you to get the most out of your lesson time.
For class or dancing, nice casual clothing is appropriate. In consideration of your partners, men should not wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts, and ladies should avoid backless dresses. Be sure to shower, wear deodorant, and brush your teeth before dancing…you will be in close contact with others!
You will need shoes that stay on your feet, and move easily on the dance floor, a leather sole works best. Beach-style sandals, gym shoes and heavy or large boots don’t work well. If you’re unsure about the shoes you will be wearing, we always recommend bringing a pair of socks just in case. During the winter months/bad weather conditions, we ask that you change into your dance shoes at the studio – to keep our dance floor looking and feeling its best!
