Do I need special shoes?
You will need shoes that stay on your feet, and move easily on the dance floor, a leather sole works best. Beach style sandals, gym shoes and heavy or large boots don’t work well.
How long will it take me to learn to dance?
Dancing is simple and fun and well worth whatever time and energy you have to put into it! Learning to dance is like learning a new language. You can choose to learn a few catch phrases, or really master the language! The best place to start is in one of our beginner level classes, or book a 25-minute consultation to talk to an instructor about your goals!
How does a private lesson work?
Before anything else, we do a 25-minute consultation during which a teacher will sit down with you to understand your goals, and help determine the best path for you to take, private lessons, group classes or a combination… then we get down to the business of reaching your goals! You are always the boss and your teacher is there to help you!
How much does it cost?
Since everyone comes into the studio looking for something specific to them, we don’t know in advance how much it will cost to reach each unique goal…. that’s why we offer a consultation with one of our instructors. We take the time to listen to what you want, and work with you to create a plan that works for you. Consultations are no pressure, no obligation opportunities to let us know about you and hear a plan of action. Private lesson prices include one or two people.
Which class(es) should I take?
Beginners and those new to dance should take any of our beginner level classes and start at the beginning of a session. Class sessions begin the first week of each month. Instructors are available to talk about the best way to reach your goals… call and book a 25-minute consultation.
How much are group classes?
Our group lessons are $55 per 4-week session, each class is 45min long. Give us a call for details.
What dance should I start with?
Anything you want, just get started! Seriously though, come take advantage of our 25-minute consultation and your teacher will start you with something that fits your goals and ability level.
